Synopsis for ‘SICK FUX’:

When Ellis Earnshaw and Heathan James met as children, they couldn’t have been more different. Ellis was loud and beautiful – all blond hair, bright laughs and smiles. Heathan was dark and brooding, and obsessed with watching things die.
The pair forged an unlikely friendship, unique and strange. Until they were ripped apart by the sick cruelty of others, separated for years, both locked in a perpetual hell.
Eleven years later, Heathan is back for his girl. Back from a place from which he thought there was no return. Back to seek revenge on those who wronged them.
Time has made Heathan’s soul darker, polluted with hatred and the thirst for blood.
Time has made Ellis a shell of her former self, a little girl lost in the vastness of her pain.
As Heathan pulls Ellis out of her mental prison, reviving the essence of who she once was, down the rabbit hole they will go.
With malice in their hearts and vengeance in their veins, they will seek out the ones who hurt and destroyed them.
One at a time.
Each one more deadly than the last.
Tick Tock.

Dark Contemporary Romance. Contains explicit sexual situations, violence, disturbingly sensitive and taboo subjects, offensive language and very mature topics. Recommended for ages 18 and over.

My ‘Blogging Readers ARC-Review’ after reading ‘SICK FUX’:

Ellis Earnshaw is a beautiful young blonde haired girl who adores the story her mother introduced her to: Alice in Wonderland. Her childhood best friend Eddie lives next door but that changes quickly when she meets Heathen, the broody boy who wears all black and likes to kill insects. From there they form an unusual friendship that overshadows everyone else in their lives. Ellis, her father, his six business partners who Ellis calls her uncles and her nanny Mrs. Jenkins, all reside at the Earnshaw Estate. She has no idea that the house she calls her home carries many horrible secrets.

Heathen James is sent to live with his father who is the groundskeeper at the Earnshaw Estate. Despite his eerie obsession with watching things die, he instantly captures the attention of sweet and friendly Ellis. He experienced what most would call a traumatic event as a young child but all it did was help mold the darkness within him. He’s never had anyone show interest in him until Ellis but he has no idea that something darker exists within the Earnshaw Estate.

Heathen becomes obsessed with Ellis just as much as Ellis grows to adore Heathen. Their lives and close friendship would be sent down a dark rabbit hole in the most twisted, dark and disturbing way. Innocence would be tarnished and darkness would be inescapable. Will they find their way back to each other or will the twists and turns of their lives keep them apart? Will justice be served?

“Sick Fux” is an extremely dark, gritty and heartbreaking journey that Ellis and Heathen must face. *Reader Warning: This is not for the faint of heart and it touches on very heavy and taboo topics. I highly recommend this if you don’t mind a very dark romance that isn’t your usual type of romance story. Hearts don’t always just beat, they sometimes bleed for the ones they love. Amazingly heartbreaking and unique story. Worth checking out if you can handle it! ❤

* * *

A grown-up love story about two people who aren’t looking for love, but realize how precious it is when they find it. They don’t play games and there are no stupid misunderstandings, just life standing in their way.

Can they compromise? And what does that look like in a modern relationship between two driven people?

Assignment Vs deployment.

They’re always traveling in different directions. What relationship can survive that?

My ‘Blogging Readers ARC-Review’ after reading ‘BATTLE SCARS’:

“Battle Scars” is the latest novel from the amazingly-talented author Jane Harvey-Berrick. This Contemporary Military Romance novel touches on deeper topics regarding war and a love that grows unexpectedly. This author never disappoints when it comes to building great characters that form believable bonds while dealing with life changing events. Battle Scars is written from the main characters’ P.O.V.’s(point of view), M.J. Buckman and Jackson Connor.

Journalist M.J. Buckman is a driven and talented journalist for a well-known news network. She has big dreams of one day getting a promotion for a permanent position as a foreign correspondent. When she finds herself in a hostile situation in Afghanistan, she finds herself thankful yet furious at a Marine who lets her know how he really feels about her being there. Unexpectedly, an open-ended invitation may just send her life toward a cross roads that she’s never had the chance to experience before.

Marine Sergeant Jackson Connor is a ruggedly, strong and devoted man who proudly serves his country. The safety of his fellow Marines and completing their missions are always his main concerns. When he’s sent on a rescue mission, he can’t help but feel frustrated at the situation and the person needing to be rescued. But what surprises him the most is this attraction he feels toward this journalist.

Battle Scars delivers an enthralling and riveting story-line about two career driven people who can’t ignore their growing connection. Even so, they have the challenges of distance due to their careers while dealing with the ups and downs that life brings. M.J. and Jack have never really felt the need to put a relationship before their work but begin to find it hard to continue feeling this way when it comes to one another. I recommend this wonderful and beautiful love story for those looking for a lovely read that isn’t too dark or heavy. This one is definitely worth checking out. ❤

The Synopsis:

With a tortured past, she’s a cat-shifter who refuses to get close to anyone. Yet she can’t seem to resist the leader of the vampire protectors.

Phoenix Kaplan has never felt a connection like the one she has with Dante Leonidas. She might service him monthly, allowing him to feed from her blood, but as much as her body tells her differently, she knows it can be nothing more, not with her insecurities and inability to be intimate with a male.

That is, until she realizes the one thing she desires most in the world is something he can give her…and she propositions him to impregnate her.

She’s never wanted anything more than to be a mother, and all she needs is this one thing from Dante.

Although he should refuse, Dante can’t resist the temptation. He’s addicted not only to her blood, but also to the enigma that is purely Phoenix. And he is determined to prove to her that he can give her much more than what she asked for.

She might protect her heart with an impenetrable wall, but he’s willing to do whatever it takes to break down that wall in order to get what he desires most in the world.

My ‘Blogging Reader’s Review’ after reading ‘FORBIDDEN ADDICTION (Forbidden Series book #4)’:

*May contain Spoilers if you haven’t read the other novels of the Forbidden Series yet.*

This review is for the long awaited and much anticipated fourth novel of the Forbidden Series titled: Forbidden Addiction by R. L. Kenderson. This series never disappoints and continues to deliver with sexy romance, suspense and an enthralling story-line that will keep you hooked. I absolutely love the fact that this story is so intricate and diverse with its characters. It’s never focused on only a couple of characters and that keeps their world of shifters, vampires, and humans very fascinating and entertaining.

If you enjoy multiple P.O.V.’s(point of views) in a story, this one offers a variety for readers. There are five P.O.V.’s from: Sentinel Shifter Phoenix Kaplan, Guardian Dante Leonidas(Vampire), Guardian Hunter Esmund(Vampire), Guardian Lexine Harlow(Vampire), and Guardian Sterling Wardell(Vampire).

Phoenix Kaplan is a Sentinel Cat Shifter who had recently survived a kidnapping and the horrible treatment from her kidnapper. She has a strong attraction to a Vampire Guardian named Dante that makes her feel things she’s never felt toward any man before. There’s only one problem, she won’t allow herself to get closer to him because of her history with the opposite sex. Phoenix carries so many fears hidden behind her tough exterior, so will she be able to find her happiness or will she always be stuck behind her past issues?
Vampire Guardian Dante Leonidas doesn’t understand his attraction to Phoenix, who is nothing like him and he finds it very hard to ignore it. When Phoenix gives him an outrages yet intriguing offer, he must decide if he’ll help her out. If he does see it through, will he be able to truly help her the way she needs most?

Just when they thought things would calm down after killing their enemy Gerald, something else begins occurring. The Cat Shifters and Vampires have made an alliance since their leaders have married. It seems it has come at a cost by those who don’t agree with that alliance. Will they catch those behind the vigilante and growing violent acts before someone is harmed?

Guardian Hunter Esmund has always felt something was missing with his attraction toward the opposite sex. He practically has given up on looking and just keeps things simple. When he meets wolf-shifter Quentin, he begins feeling things he’s never felt before. There’s a genuine attraction. But could this just be a curiosity or is there something developing that he can’t ignore? And how could this effect his role as a Guardian?

Vampire Guardian Lexine Rocha has always had a crush on fellow Guardian Dante but he’s never felt the same for her. Out of spite, she made friends with a group of vampires that disliked the new pact made between the vampires and the shifters. Lexine must choose between her duty as a Guardian and her new friends. When she finds herself in a difficult situation, will she be able to find her way out of it? How will Guardian Sterling Wardell do when he discovers that Lexine has been hiding something from all of them?

This series will take readers on an enjoyable journey into the world full of intriguing characters and a story that never falls short. I highly recommend “Forbidden Addiction” and this entire series to anyone looking for the next novel and series to get lost in. It’s definitely worth it! I’ve yet to be disappointed by any of these wonderful novels in this entire series. Such an amazing blend of strong and at times, imperfect characters. Check this out for sure! 🙂

Unwilling to put up with the snobbery and bullying at her private school, she enrolls at the local public high school, crossing paths with John. The boy who risked his life to save hers.

An unlikely bond grows between the two as John keeps Edie out of trouble and helps her broaden her horizons. But when he helps her out with another first—losing her virginity—their friendship gets complicated.

Meanwhile, Edie and John are pulled back into the dangerous world they narrowly escaped. They were lucky to survive the first time, but this time they have more to lose—each other.

My ‘Blogging Readers ARC-Review’ after reading ‘PRIVILEGED’:

“Privileged” is the latest novel from author Carrie Aarons. This entertaining standalone novel comes from the Contemporary Romance genre and delivers with enjoyable characters and a decently good story-line. This story is written from the two main characters’ P.O.V.’s(point of views) which are Nora Randolph and Asher Frederick.

Nora Randolph is an American girl who’s a new student at Winston Preparatory Academy in London. It’s her senior year of high school and to add to that pressure, she must blend into this new posh school filled with her elite and privileged peers. She’s far from her old town in Pennsylvania now that she is set to become the step-daughter to the Duke of Westminster. To top it off, it seems a certain popular jerk named Asher is determined to make her life a living hell.

Asher William Frederick comes from a line of overachievers who’ve never had to worry about anything since they have the connections and money to do as they please. Asher and his father conjure up a plan to bring down the Duke of Westminster by any means necessary. They blame him for the night Asher’s mother died. With vengeance in his heart, he tries his best to satisfy his and his father’s anger. But, what Asher didn’t plan on was slowly finding himself falling for the innocent and sometimes naive Nora.

Can Nora handle every little snide remark and prank these rich snobs sling her way? And can Nora find her place in her new challenging life? Will Asher ever find a way to heal from his mother’s death or will he continue to live in his shallow lifestyle with no real depth? This story was a pleasant surprise and did not disappoint. It’s a fun read with a plot that keeps things interesting. It’s great to see the characters grow from start to finish. If you’re looking for something appealing to entertain your romance-reader needs, this one is a good one! Check this out. ❤

My ‘Blogging Readers ARC-Review’ after reading ‘TRUST’:

“Trust” is the latest novel from Best-selling author Kylie Scott. This story kicks off from the first chapter and stays compelling and entertaining all the way through. This novel definitely touches on a few heavy topics but it delivers in an engaging way. “Trust” is written from the one of the main character’s P.O.V.’s(point of view), Edie Millen.

Edie Millen was having a fun sleepover with her best friend Georgia. They decided to go to the nearby corner store to grab a few snacks dressed in their pajamas. Edie went in alone while Georgia waited in the car. The quick visit the store would turn into a dangerous night for her when someone decides to rob it. She can’t help but fear for her life as she comes to the realization that this may be the end. What she didn’t expect, was that the two other guys in the store with her would risk their lives to try and save them all.

With her outlook on life completely altered, feeling hurt by a decision her best friend Georgia made, Edie makes a decision. She wants to leave her high price private school behind and attend a local public school. Edie finds it hard to care about the things that used to bother her challenge her, like bullies and following the rules. She begins an unlikely bond and friendship with John, the guy who did his best to keep her safe during the store robbery.

John is popular and known around his high school as the go-to-guy for all the wrong things. When his life changes after the robbery and because of his older brother, John decides to do better. He cleans up his act and tries hard to do better in school. Unfortunately, he’s already earned a reputation among his peers and the staff at school. They give him a hard time now that he’s trying to change his life. Edie is in the picture now and she may be just the person to either help his change or add to his problems.

As John and Edie grow a strong bond and a genuine friendship, how will the robbery they experienced together, affect their lives? When Edie comes to John to ask him for a huge favor that could change things, will John see it through or turn her down? Can John save himself and Edie again when they find themselves in a another dangerous situation? “Trust” is a dangerously enthralling story. You’ll find yourself pulled into the lives of the characters, John and Edie, and experience their firsts in a way that will keep your interest and entertain in such a staggering way. I highly recommend this riveting read and the amazing way it touches on heavy topics. If you’re looking for your next read, this one is definitely worth it! ❤

The Synopsis:

Live hard, f*ck harder and follow only their own rules. Those are the cornerstones the six men of the Haven Brotherhood live and bleed by, refusing to conform to society’s expectations, taking what they want and always watching each other’s backs.

Trevor Raines lives on the edge of legal. A good guy doing bad things to save lives, the only rules he follows are the Brotherhood’s, and there’s nothing in the world that will change that. Until Natalie Jordan walks into his life…

Natalie’s only interest is in making a fresh start. She’s a woman with a plan, and the plan doesn’t include a man with secrets, no matter how kind—or intoxicating—he is. But this cowboy is determined to break down her walls, keep her safe and make her his.

Trevor had no interest in settling down, but there’s something entirely too appealing about the woman he can’t stay away from. There’s only one thing to do—change his plans…and hers. When Natalie’s ex resurfaces to threaten her new life, Trevor will move heaven and earth to make sure the bastard can’t hurt her again. Except saving Natalie means outing his own secrets—and it could mean losing her forever…

My ‘Blogging Reader’s Review’ after reading Claim & Protect (Haven Brotherhood Series book #3)’:

***WARNING: Possible SPOILERS if you haven’t read the previous Novels of the Haven Brotherhood Series.***

The third installment of the riveting Haven Brotherhood Series is titled Claim & Protect by author Rhenna Morgan. In this amazing novel readers are given a full-blend of contemporary romance, suspense, and an emotionally-enthralling storyline. The Haven Brotherhood is full of intense, protective, and very attractive men who are willing to break the rules for those they love, this story doesn’t fall short with that expectation at all. This novel is written from the two main character’s P.O.V.’s(point of views) which are Natalie and Trevor.

Natalie Jordan is determined to start a new life with her son Levi and her mother after leaving her husband. Her husband’s controlling and sometimes abusive behavior became too much so she grabbed what she could and left. Her jerk of a husband Wyatt Jordan is a successful plastic surgeon doctor who has his mind set on keeping tabs on Natalie anyway he can. Will Natalie ever truly get away from his control? Natalie’s new boss Trevor at the bar she works at is attractive, protective, and everything else that Wyatt is not. Can she protect herself and her son from her abusive husband? And can she protect her heart from falling hard in the process?

Trevor Raines lives his life on the edge of legal and really has no interest in settling down with any one woman. Most would assume it’s because he’s such an attractive man and can have any woman he wants but it goes deeper than that with Trevor. He was adopted at a young age after the the deaths of his parents. The broken home of abuse from his childhood scarred him as far as relationships go. Unexpectedly, in walks Natalie with her girl-next-door sweetness and naturally beautiful looks, he can’t help but feel curious about her. When he learns about Natalie’s life and the past that won’t let go, will he run the other way or will he stand by to help her when she needs it most?

Claim & Protect absolutely delivers and earns every part of it’s name. The strength and heart that Trevor has is attractive and makes him such an irresistible character. Natalie could be weak because of what she has to deal with but it’s impressive to see her grow into a strong woman who fights to overcome her past. The emotions run high and the dialogue does not disappoint. I recommend this remarkable series and this entertaining novel! Check this one out for sure! ❤
