My ‘Blogging Reader’s ARC-Review’ after reading ‘1st TIME LOVE’ by Sapphire Knight:

This is the first novel in the new Dirty Down South Series by Author Sapphire Knight. It’s titled “1st Time Love” and falls into the genres of Contemporary Sports Romance and is a New Adult novel. This novel is written from the two main characters’ P.O.V.’s(point of views) which are Kadence and Tyler.

Kadence Winters is a naturally beautiful college girl who chooses to focus on getting to class more than getting to the weekend’s big party spot. Her best friend Brianne is her polar opposite but that has never put a dent in their friendship. Kadence, being the somewhat clumsy girl that she is, runs into another student in the hall. When she realizes that it’s Tyler Owens, the very attractive, flirty classmate who probably never knew she existed, who also happens to be a very valuable player on the football team, she can’t help but be shocked to find out he’s actually a gentleman and not everything that she assumed he was.

Tyler “Freight Train” Owens is lucky #12 on the team at Alabama, and his southern charm has never failed him when it comes to the ladies. On the field he’s earned his name “Freight Train” because of his amazing football defensive skills. His family consists of just him and his two older brothers who look out for each other, even more so ever since their parents passed away. His future looks bright and promising. He had no idea that his life would change after a simple run-in down the hall with a girl named Kadence Winters. He, literally and figuratively, never saw her coming his way.

“1st Time Love” is a delightful and entertaining story about finding your first love in a person that is different than what you would’ve expected. They are more than what you could’ve never imagined. The main characters, Kadence and Tyler, are well written and draw you into their story in an enjoyable and beautiful way. There are characters in here that you know are meant to cause issues but the author does well with not making this become a typical drama. That was a great thing! Since this is a series, I’m hoping to see what happens with the other Owens brothers and even the one character that was the definite villain in this story-line. I recommend this if you’re searching for a fantastic romance novel to read. Give this one a read! ❤

My ‘Blogging Readers Review’ after reading ‘Misconduct’ (A Death Dwellers MC Series – #5):

***WARNING: Possible SPOILERS if you haven’t read the previous Novels/Novellas of the Death Dwellers MC Series.***

The amazing Death Dwellers MC Series by Kathryn Kelly is getting closer to the end but it is not losing momentum at all. “Misconduct” continues to have tons of twists and turns, emotional and heart-wrenching scenes that draw readers in and holds on tight. This novel gives us a wide range of main character P.O.V.’s and story-lines that tie in together in one way or another. This novel is written with P.O.V.’s(point of views) from Albany “Bunny” Hamilton, Marcus “Digger” Banks, as well as his brother Lucas “Mortician” Banks, Ellen Cooper, Peyton Cooper(Ellen’s sister), and M.C. President Christopher “Outlaw” Caldwell.

Ellen Cooper has always been polar opposite of her younger sister Peyton Cooper. Where Ellen is strawberry blonde, her sister Peyton looks more like their mother Audra with dark brown hair and dark eyes. Their lifestyles are completely different as well. Ellen hangs out with the Death Dwellers MC bikers and isn’t afraid to be tough and blunt. Peyton on the other hand, dressed well, lived in an expensive apartment and enjoyed fine things due to following their mother Audra’s footsteps toward becoming a Dr. Ellen shared her disappointment in losing “Outlaw” to a girl named Megan “Meggie.” She convinced her sister Peyton that Meggie was trouble and she’d be there for Ellen to support her in bringing this new girl down.
But something happened…

Peyton Cooper gets news about her sister Ellen that turns everything upside down. Her sadness and anger ignite a need for revenge on anyone who had anything to do with what happened to her sister, including the girl who led to her sister’s heartbreak… Megan Foy.

Albany “Bunny” Hamilton is Bryce “Trader’s” Old Lady, a brother in the Death Dwellers MC. Trader is constantly cheating on her and calls her names to the point that it’s become routine for him to be pissed off about something. Bunny finds out something that she doesn’t want to tell Trader about right off but he soon finds out her secret. She isn’t sure how he will handle it but being the cruel, heartless and mean person he is toward her, she worries about his reaction. Bunny is friends with Meggie and is known at the club as Trader’s Old Lady but now that things have gotten worse between them, he threatens to get her barred from the only life she knows through the MC. How will things go if the person that ties her to the MC, is no longer there? Will that be the end of the only life Bunny has come to know and love?

Marcus “Digger” Banks is on the Death Dwellers MC crap list! He put the MC President Outlaw’s wife Meggie in danger and risked the lives of his own brother Mortician’s baby-mama and their unborn child. His days are numbered as far as the MC is concerned. Why would Digger turn against his former MC brothers so drastically and put any of them or their loved ones in danger? What happened and is there more to the story? The answer is yes, there is much more to it. Bad choices lead to bad consequences. But can Digger Banks ever come back from it or is his destiny going to be to on a road of betrayal and possible death? When he finds himself at a turning point, what will he choose to do and who will he show his true loyalties to?

This novel is definitely full of dark, almost sinister events, with emotional highs and lows, that will keep you at the edge of your seat. Misconduct is one of the last few novels in the
Death Dwellers MC Series and absolutely satisfies the hunger for it’s gripping story-lines and unforgettable characters. I recommend this novel and series to anyone looking for something fascinating to read next. Check out the final full-length raw and engrossing novel in this great series! 🙂
