Along with the new pressures of adulthood, and a rising anxiety disorder he’s having trouble hiding, Adrian discovers there’s been a string of unexplained dropouts at the school. He suspects something is amiss with two of his students, identical twins Raven and Robin. One outgoing, one withdrawn, both keeping a secret.

My ‘Blogging Reader’s ARC-Review’ after reading ‘WHISPERS IN THE DARK’:

This is my honest review after reading a copy of Whispers In The Dark by author Chase J. Jackson. This young adult novel definitely delivers a decent amount of horror, paranormal aspects and revolves around a teacher and high school students. The novel is written from the main character Adrian Ramirez’s P.O.V.(point of view), but there is a second brief P.O.V. from a student character named Robin, also.

Twenty six year old Adrian Ramirez just recently moved back to his hometown and into his late-grandmother’s home. His girlfriend Lea moved with him, leaving behind her life to start a new one with Adrian. He was recently hired at a prestigious private academy to teach English to middle school students. Adrian begins catching up with his old buddies from town which begins to cause some tension in his relationship with Lea because he’s always gone, leaving her alone at home. To top it off, Lea has been hearing strange noises in the house when she’s there alone.

As quickly as Adrian begins his job at the academy, unexplainable incidences begin to occur. What is the cause of the noises at the house Lea and Adrian are living in? And is there a reason behind these eerie dreams that Adrian has been having? What is with the strange students in Adrian Ramirez’s class? There are so many questions and the story leads you down a creepy path to get the answers.

The storyline was catchy, had some really creepy moments and was a quick little entertaining read. There were a few flaws but nothing that truly takes away from being able to enjoy the story completely. The scary points in the story are what kept my interest while reading this story but some of the characters didn’t seem believable in small ways. “Whispers In The Dark” doesn’t fall short and delivers enough suspense to be enjoyable. This book is something to read if you’re into a book with a mix of paranormal and horror in the young adult genre. It was a decent read. Check it out if this sounds like something you’d be into.

MEMORABLE QUOTES & LINES FROM ‘WHISPERS IN THE DARK’

Adrian’s thoughts:  …I heard the noise again. My heartbeat sped up. It did sound like someone was upstairs. I used to hear noises in this house all the time when I was growing up. My grandma always said it was just the house settling, and that I didn’t have anything to be afraid of.

Lea and Adrian:  “So, what do you think she wanted?” Lea asked.
“I don’t know. I never found out,” I explained. “I think she ended up going to a different school after that year. I mean, I never saw her again.”
“That’s creepy,” Lea replied. “I wonder what happened to her?”

Raven, Adrian and Justin:  “Yeah, she and Isabelle seem to talk all the time,” Raven said. “Isabelle always seems to have a bad attitude to me.”
“Oh, you noticed that, too,” I said.
“Yeah, she always has some little smart comment to make,” Raven continued. “And I tried getting Robin to sit with me and my friends, but I think it’s awkward for her when she’s around too many people.”
“Was she always like that?” Justin asked.
“Well, she’s always been the quiet one, and I was the more outspoken one, but all this bad stuff didn’t start happening until we came to this school,” Raven explained.

Adrian’s thoughts:  This was it. All those panic attacks had taken a toll on my body. I couldn’t control it anymore. “It was my fault. I was selfish. You deserved someone better than me. I should have been there for…for…you.”

Only Forever by Cristin Harber 4

The Synopsis:

The fourth and final installment of the Only series. Must be read in order.

There comes a time when Emma must face the secret she kept from Grayson. But she never thought it would be while she stood on stage at Emerald’s. The seconds she has to convey that her life is in danger are lost in the devastation that she sees rip through him. She pinches her eyes closed. “Don’t leave me. No matter how mad you are, please, please don’t leave me here alone.”

But there’s more on the line than just Emma’s safety. There’s the danger that brought Titan’s Delta team in to the strip club in the first place. A threat that’s too close to home, too close to the family, the daughter and woman Grayson plans to claim. I push away the sudden spring of fear. Life’s too unknown, with hidden enemies and unseen terrors. The idea that I could lose her again… it’s unbearable.

A love story like Grayson and Emma needs a forever love, and somehow they’ll find their way to her fairytale.

______

My ‘Blogging Reader’s ARC-Review’ after reading ‘ONLY FOREVER’:

***WARNING: Possible SPOILERS if you haven’t read the previous Novellas of the Only Series.***

This novella series has been such an emotional and beautiful journey as we follow the lives of Emma and Grayson since their teenaged years into adulthood. “Only Forever” is the fourth and final installment of a four part novella series by Cristin Harber. The entire series has been amazing to read and enjoy. I’ve been completely hooked since the first novella. This is of the New Adult genre and is a Contemporary Romance story. Readers will get to read the story through the two main character’s P.O.V.’s(point of views), Grayson Ford and Emma Kingsley.

The story continues after Emma and Grayson finally unite after years apart now as adults. Grayson has one goal and that is to win back the woman he loves and to finally meet the little girl he didn’t know existed at first. When Emma accepts him back, even though her family is initially reluctant to accept him fully, his main focus next is to find the right time for Emma to introduce him to their beautiful two year old daughter Cally. Grayson Ford isn’t exactly who he used to be. He has some scars from his military life that still haunt him but with Emma by his side, he believes that his new little family will help him heal that part of him. But will Grayson be able to adapt to a new life as a family man? Will Grayson be accepted into Emma’s life, family again, or especially into their daughter Cally’s heart?

Emma Kingsley has been doing school and work non-stop in order to provide a good life as a single mother for her daughter Cally. When Grayson shows up at her front door, it throws her life off. She never thought he’d be back in her life but now that he’s back, is he ready to be a part of everything that comes with Emma’s life too? Emma has a job that she has yet to tell Grayson about and she worries that it may be the one secret she can’t share with him. Maybe he’ll judge her? Maybe he’ll think she’s changed so much that he doesn’t want her anymore? She strips one night a week and she knows that truth has to be told one way or another. When Grayson finds out about Emma’s other job, how will he react? And what dark secret does Emma find out about where she works and her boss- that could potentially put her in danger?

How will Grayson and Emma handle it when Cally finally meets her daddy? Will Emma’s family be able to forgive Grayson for leaving Emma behind? How will this new Titan job work out for Grayson and how will Emma finally tell Grayson about her new jobs including her job at Emerald’s Gentleman’s Club? It’s bittersweet anytime an awesome series comes to an end and that is definitely how I feel about the Only Series. The storyline will draw you in from the first novella and won’t let your heart go until the very last novella in this captivating series. The love story between Emma and Grayson is breath-taking, impressively entertaining and alluring. I highly recommend this novella series! It’s sensational and Grayson Ford is one of those book boyfriends that every girl would probably say “I want one, too!” Heads Up: These novellas each end with a cliff-hanger feel to them but don’t worry because you’ll be completely fulfilled by the entire series. I adored everything about their story and romance! You should absolutely pick up these novellas. You won’t be disappointed by the Only Series. 🙂

MEMORABLE QUOTES & LINES FROM ‘ONLY FOREVER’

Grayson’s thoughts:  None of this makes sense. Sweet, innocent Emma. In what world is this happening? In what world did I cause this to happen? Fuck me- I want to tear the walls down and maim any man who has ever seen this before.

Emma and Grayson:  “Let me dance for you. Not because I’m scared to leave this room.” My tongue catches his ear lobe. “Not because your new job means you have to roll with it.”
“No.”
“This is my fantasy, Gray. How I survived while you were gone.”

Emma’s thoughts and Sarah:  She opens the bathroom door, and there’s a lineup waiting for me: Ryan- guns and a badge on his waist- standing next to the hot guy with dark hair and tattoos, who is next to an older-but-still-hot man with dark hair, and finally, there’s Grayson- chiseled, brooding, and personifying that word alpha. Four men who look ready to kill.
“Holy mother of hotness,” Sarah whispers. “I just died and went to bad-boy heaven.”

Grayson’s thoughts:  Honestly, I miss the guy. If I’d ever had a brother, it would’ve been him. There’s a tightness in my chest because I’ll never say those words, but losing him as my brother has been a heavy burden. There’s been too much loss in my life. I lost my team, lost my time with the woman I love, and lost the early years with my baby girl. All all because I couldn’t open my damn mouth.

Grayson remembering when he left Emma as teenagers:  But we promised: no goodbyes. She wants and needs a good life, free from people like me who come from places like the ones I come from and who have to hid their real lives from their best friends…
In one push, I roll away and turn back. That soft smile on her sleeping face fades. She’s still asleep, but it’s not just an expressionless dreaming face.
I cannot believe this is how it ends. “I love you, Emma.”

Emma and Grayson:  “I’ll say this as clearly as I can. The wrong choice, bad people… I don’t know, sometimes we deal with those things because they bring us to the right spot and make us ready for the future.”
“He blinks. “You believe that?”
“Down to my soul, Grayson.” I watch him, willing my belief to sink into him. “And when you do too, I’ll know our life can be okay.”

Grayson’s thoughts:  I can’t take a single breath until she finishes her two-year-old analysis. Blood rushes to my ears, and my collar feels tight. I’ve been through basic training, been shot hanging off a helicopter, been beaten within an inch of my life, but right now feels as though it could break me if it went wrong.

Emma and Grayson:  “There’s this saying: stars can’t shine unless they’re cloaked in darkness. I’m not sure that’s true. They’re always there, always shining. It just depends on whether we can see them. And that’s us.”
He squeezes my hands, his thumbs running across my skin.
“Our love has always been there.”

Devils Den Series 3 SIN by Violetta Rand

The Synopsis:

Sin proves that passion goes beyond smoldering desire when hearts dance to their own special beat.

Every woman at the Devil’s Den strip club has a story to tell, and Macey Taylor is no exception. Smart and self-reliant, she’s got a chip on her shoulder, a broken heart, and no patience for a sexy new manager with an Ivy League pedigree and a strict set of rules. Macey prefers to break rules, something she lets Joshua Camden know from the start—even as he ignites a fire in her that goes beyond the hottest club in town.

Joshua is working the Devil’s Den for all it’s worth, learning everything he can about the adult-entertainment game before investing in a place of his own. Macey is a surprise: a woman as strong-willed as she is gorgeous. Joshua wants to get inside her world, to see through her eyes. But he soon discovers that seduction is a two-way street—and expecting redemption without risking his heart may be the greatest sin of all.

Includes a special message from the editor, as well as an excerpt from another Loveswept title.

My ‘Blogging Reader’s ARC-Review’ after reading SIN(Devil’s Den Series – Book #3):

In the third and final installment of the Devil’s Den Series by author Violetta Rand, we get to see the story following Robyn’s best friend Macey. This has been a wonderfully-hot and enjoyable series and it’s bittersweet to know that it is over. This novel is of the Adult and Contemporary Romance genre and definitely touches on the erotic and steamy aspects of the story. Sin is written in the two main character’s P.O.V.’s(point of views): Macey Taylor and Joshua Camden.

Main characters Robyn (main character of Surrender) and her younger sister Marisela Gonzalez (main character of Surrender), are mentioned in “Sin”. We see where their lives are now. The main character of “Sin” is Robyn’s former co-worker stripper-best-friend, Macey Taylor. She is beautiful with sexy skills on the stage, long black hair, a blunt personality and the funds that allow her to enjoy lavish trips on occasion. When Macey returns from a nice long getaway vacation to Paris minus her boyfriend Wesley who stayed back in Corpus Christi, she finds herself facing new changes in her life. Some wanted changes and some tough ones. The Devil’s Den Strip Club has a new assistant manager by the name of Joshua Camden who is making big changes and Macey isn’t one to stay quiet about things that she’s not happy with when it comes to the way things were before. This causes instant tension between the two.

The new manager of the Devil’s Den Gentlemen’s Club, Joshua Camden, is ready to make improvements to the club since he’s been given the go-ahead by the owner. What Joshua didn’t expect was his instant attraction and pull toward Macey. Joshua Camden comes from a family of money but wanted to take on the job at the Devil’s Den regardless. In the process his fiance, Julia Henderson, left him to move to New York to be with another man named Clark who lived the lifestyle that fit her elite life. When Julia breaks up with Clark and tries to get Joshua to take her back, he’s left in his own tough situation with an ex like Macey is dealing with her own. Will Macey and Joshua give their ex’s a chance again? Or will they both try out their chances at the undeniable attraction that they share and give into that instead?

Sin is the final installment of the Devi’s Den Series and it definitely goes out with a bang. This is a series worth reading because it is full of entertaining storyline and steamy scenes. With the similar relationship issues that Macey and Joshua both recently experienced, it gives them a common connection but also makes it hard for them to trust each other fully. There is nothing better than watching two characters with a believable and strong connection grow closer throughout a story. This entire series is truly worth reading. Pick up your copies of these novels  when you’re in need of reading something sexy, gripping and exciting to read. 🙂

Macey’s thoughts:  My gut aches and I can barely breathe, it hurts so much. Home for less than an hour and my whole world just disintegrated. Of course I’ll do what I always do when I need to forget something: I’ll dance my ass off.

Joshua’s thoughts:  There’s just something about her. I stare at the screen again, admiring her head to toe, trying to find the words. It’s hopeless. Beauty and brains? Chemistry? Maybe it’s because she defied me from the moment she stepped into my office.

Joshua’s thoughts:  Every time I turn around there are thieves waiting to steal what we have- envious assholes ready to destroy our happiness. Not today. I claim her mouth. Nothing is going to hold me back this time.

Joshua and Macey:  Our gazes lock. I feel dizzy and breathless.
“I want to know everything about you, Macey. All your secrets. What you love and what makes you smile.”
“You make me smile.”
“I’m glad to hear it.”

Breaking Noah by Missy Johnson -Ashley Suzanne

The Synopsis for ‘Breaking Noah’:

What happens when you start falling for your worst enemy? Fans of Abbi Glines and Monica Murphy will relish this addictive novel of smoking-hot seduction—and revenge gone so wrong, it’s right.

I wasn’t always this jaded. I had a clear head, things I wanted out of life, and a concise plan on how to get there. For being only twenty-one, I pretty much had it all figured out. Until the day my cousin died.

I spent months going over all the details surrounding her death, trying to figure out how I missed the signs, and the only thing I could come up with was she would still be alive if it wasn’t for one person: her professor. So I transferred to his college, enrolled in his class, and set my new plan in motion.

First I’ll seduce him. Then I’ll ruin him. I’ve just got to stay strong and not let his charm and my emotions get the best of me. Because someone has to pay for her death. If it’s the last thing I do, I’m going to break Noah.

__________________________________________________

My ‘Blogging Reader’s ARC-Review’ for ‘BREAKING NOAH’ by Missy Johnson & Ashley Suzanne:

This is the first novel I’ve read from author Missy Johnson. You’ll first be drawn into the story by the tragic end of a character named Karly, who was dealing with so many secrets that consumed her. Her cousin Zara is left heartbroken and angry about the many questions she has as to why Karly felt so alone. This is a captivating story about seeking revenge and finding out that the one person you want to hurt the most, may be the one you crave which twists up everything. Readers will be reading the story through the two main character’s P.O.V.’s(point of views) Zara and Professor Noah Bain, as well as a third brief P.O.V. from Karly.

Zara Hamilton was left with a note that her cousin Karly left for her. That was all. Zara wished her cousin had told her about her problems or issues but no matter how much she thought about it, she never caught any signs of distress. Now it was too late.  Zara is left with so many feelings about the death of Karly. Anger, sadness, grief, heartbreak and questions that are still unanswered. Like “Why?” All that she knows is that she wants someone to pay for how things went with Karly. This would be the someone who caused Karly to feel like the only way to escape her problems was to escape life, permanently.

Professor Noah Bain is a young twenty-something who enjoys his job and has had the same live-in girlfriend, Shannon, since college. He’s been living life as usual but he wishes he had done more to help one of his former students, Karly. Now that she was gone, he carries much regret about not handling the situation differently when he last saw her alive. When he finds himself with a new student in his class, he can’t help but feel some strange pull toward her. Another thing, she reminds him of someone in certain ways and that’s also making it feel stranger. The one thing he really can’t deny, as much as he’d like to ignore it, there is an undeniable attraction pulling him toward her.

Zara is determined to bring Noah down. No matter what it takes, she will do it for Karly. The only problem with what should be a flawless plan is that there is a major flaw. The man she should hate is slowly making her question everything that she assumed about him. Is there more to Noah Bain? What other secrets did Karly hide from Zara? And who can Zara truly trust in this twisted plan for revenge that she is determined to see through? Whose life will be destroyed and will they pay like they should?

The storyline was quite engaging and pulls you into the excitement of wanting to see how everything unfolds. The characters each bring something to the story that makes it more intricate and entertaining. I’ll recommend this story for readers who are looking for something mildly dark with a good amount of contemporary romance in the story which is all seductive, sexy and teasingly-erotic. There are a couple of good twists and turns in the story that make the book a wonderful read. Check this one out if you are looking for the next good New Adult novel to dive into.

Zara’s thoughts:  Think about her. Remember she is why you’re doing all this.
My heart catches in my throat as twenty pairs of eyes turn to stare at me. Well, twenty-one, if you include his.
He’s the entire reason I’m here.

Zara’s thoughts:  I’m going to destroy him…it’s the only thing I can do to try to get some justice for Karly. I’ll be sure she comes out the winner. He doesn’t get to live his happy little life while she’s rotting away in a box six fee under. She deserves more.

Noah’s thoughts: All of these conflicting emotions are going to give me a stroke. Half of me wanting to be only her professor, teaching her the beauty of literature, and the other half wanting to be so deep inside her I can’t see straight.

Zara and Noah: “Everyone I love leaves me in the end,” I whisper, my fingers toying with the hem of the T-shirt I’m wearing.
His eyes dark downward, then back up to my gaze. He leans over, his thumb gently wiping below my eye. I blink, sending more tears rolling down my cheek.
“I’m not everyone, Zara.”

My ‘Blogging Reader’s ARC-Review’ for ‘THE VIOLET HOUR by Heather L. Wells:

This was my review for the debut novel “The Violet Hour” which was graciously given to me by this new fantastic author Andrea L. Wells. This is new Young Adult novel with a captivating romance and a deep layer of paranormal. Readers will get to enjoy this amazing story through the main female character Logan Keller’s P.O.V(point of view).

Logan Keller has been living the life of a teenager, who happens to be a socialite and the daughter of a famous super model mom and a step-father who is a real estate mogul. One night, when Logan returns home in Laguna Hills way passed her curfew, she finds her mother dead. Now that her mother is gone and her step-father Richard really is always on the move with his business, she has to move back with her biological father Kevin Keller, whom she hasn’t seen in six years. Now with the beautiful sun and beaches of California in her rearview mirror, she sets out on her journey to her dad’s home in Wyoming. She’s leaving behind her long time best friend Lindsey Hamilton and her boyfriend Brody Wilson. What she isn’t ready for is how different her life will be as she says goodbye to the life she’s known and gets to know the new people about to become a huge part of it.

She doesn’t know how to feel about living with her the dad she hasn’t seen in so long or his wife, Kate. What she didn’t expect either was to find that her dad has three teenaged brothers that live with them that are not related to her. Logan feels this strange yet alluring pull toward Luke, the middle brother. He’s a stranger but yet, something about him makes Logan feel safe and drawn in by his presence. The only thing that confuses her is the fact that his moods go from sweet and friendly to broody and distant with her. It’s both frustrating and confusing to Logan. As she struggles to find out what secrets are going on around her new life in Wyoming, it seems that more people know more than they are willing to tell her. When a strange man named Alexander shows up, knowing Logan’s name, things begin to feel stranger by the moment as she slowly unravels the truth about everything she’s been questioning.

As Logan begins to get answers to her many questions, she is not prepared for the answers she receives. Everything she’s known and the reality that has always existed around her is turned into something else. It was nothing she expected at all. When she finds out why her mother died and more about herself, fear begins to creep up and Logan has to figure out how to deal and survive it all. She is special and everyone that cares about her will protect her from the bad things that seem determined to get close to Logan.

Will Logan be able to handle the truth about herself? Can she trust Luke with her heart and her life? How will Logan deal with what she learns about the new people in her life? And who is Xavier? Words that she never thought she’d have to think about like packs, alphas and changes become all she can think about in the first novel of this exciting new series. I absolutely enjoy how you get to know the characters well and the storyline begins to build up in an exciting way. I’ll definitely be looking forward to reading what is to come in this new mind-blowing series. To say that it’s a YA/Young Adult novel, I couldn’t even tell. There is plenty of mesmerizing storyline and it will leave you satisfied as the reader. Knowing that this is a series, there are questions left unanswered like: What happened in California when Logan was surrounded? MEMORABLE QUOTES & LINES FROM ‘THE VIOLET HOUR′

Logan’s thoughts:  I needed her. She was supposed to be there for me. Forever.
I felt so far from wherever she was. I felt so far away from everything I’d ever known… from the person I used to be. I used to be happy and I’d give anything to go back. Back to my old self. Back to California. And, I’d give anything, anything, to have my mom back.

Logan’s thoughts:  The sudden warmth in his voice forced me to look at him. His eyes reminded me of the calm blue of the ocean. This time of the year, as autumn approached, I loved sitting outside in a lounge chair to watch the soothing waves. His eyes had the same calming effect on me.

Logan and Luke: “Well, the song… it’s about a girl?” I probed.
“Sure,” he agreed. “It is about a girl.”
The girl?” I asked, the words ready on the tip of my tongue.
“The girl? Someday, I suppose,” he replied with another thought-filled smile.
“What’s her name?”
“I don’t know,” he paused. “But as soon as I do, I’ll be sure to let you know.” He stopped playing long enough to pull his blue eyes from the strings and glance up at me.
My heart stopped.

Logan’s thoughts: Every day, since the moment I found out my mother had died, I had wished I was trapped in some sick nightmare and would soon wake up. Then, in the midst of my broken heartedness, I met Luke and had pulled back from the darkness. Now, in a moment’s notice, I was sinking back into the nightmare. I’d had enough. Something wasn’t adding up and I deserved answers.

Luke to Logan:  “In a thousand years, I couldn’t match the words you just spoke. Like a coward, all I could do was kiss the lips those words escaped from and hope they would kiss me back,” he whispered.

Luke to Logan:  “I would never let anything happen to you. I’ve waited my entire life to meet someone like you and now I’ll do whatever I can to not lose you.”

Logan’s thoughts: I was alone. I had been betrayed.
If there was ever a moment I wanted, no, needed, my mother, it was now. She was the furthest away and yet, I felt the closest to her because everyone else had let me down.

Logan’s thoughts: I didn’t consider my mission suicide but I knew I wasn’t coming out of this alive. Simply, there was no other choice. To continue putting the ones I loved in further danger was not an option. It seemed like the ultimate sacrifice. I refused to spend the next year running. And even if I survived, ‌I knew I would never be ready for the next chapter of my life.

BOOK-COVER REVEAL: ‘The Girl I Was Before’ by Ginger Scott.

New! COVER REVEAL for the upcoming novel:
‘THE GIRL I WAS BEFORE’ (Falling Series-book#3) by Author Ginger Scott.

The Girl I Was Before by Ginger Scott 3

📚

Synopsis for ‘THE GIRL I WAS BEFORE’:

I’m the selfish one. I suppose that’s the nicest thing people say about me. I’ve heard the other things, too. “Paige Owens is a pretty girl with nothing else to offer. She’s just a good time at a party. She’s stupid, heartless, cold and useless. All she cares about is getting a guy to look at her. Why would anyone want to be her friend?”

Some of those things are true. Others were true. They’re all hurtful.

None of it matters.

I’m ready to make the hard choices. I’m ready to face the consequences. I’m ready to be the girl I was before, and I’m done being the one who lost her way.

I’m ready to become the girl Houston Orr sees when he looks at me.

Houston isn’t a star athlete. He doesn’t play in a band. He’s never going to be president, and his life is so far away from simple and easy it isn’t even funny.
He wasn’t part of my plan. But I’m starting to think plans are overrated, and maybe our stories are what we make them. And mine depends entirely on me, and the choices I make…starting now.

Houston is my fairytale. He’s perfectly imperfect. He’s poetry and life. He’s truth and heartbreak, all rolled up in a tall body with dark hair, broad shoulders and green eyes that lull me into submission. He’s nothing I ever thought I wanted, but the very thing I need. He’s the only guy I’ve ever really loved, and he thinks I’m a princess. I fell into him, and now I’m holding on.

But sometimes life takes away our ability to choose. Sometimes…things aren’t in your control. Sometimes, it hurts to be selfless. My only hope is that when it comes time to choose, I get it right.

Welcome to my once upon a time and wish for happily ever after.

Justice. Faith. Power.

The words I live my life by, the three keys to my success, the foundation I built my entire empire on and now Goldie holds them all in the palm of her hands.

She once was a Jett Girl, a piece of me, a safety net I grew to depend on.

She once was mine…heart, body and soul.
But now she’s gone.

I fell for a girl I should have left alone. I let her consume my life, control my feelings and own every aspect of my being. I tried to keep her, to make her see what she was doing to me, to clue her in that breathing was impossible without her around.

But she ran, she gave up and she returned the one thing that claimed her as mine, she gave me back her collar.

This is the story of a desperate man who lost everything that ever mattered to him… my little one.
