The Synopsis:

A self-made man with his fingers in a variety of successful businesses, Jace Kennedy lives for the challenge and he always gets what he wants. From the start, he sees Vivienne Moore’s hidden wild side and knows she’s his perfect match, if only he can break it free. He will have her. One way or another.

Vivienne’s determined to ditch the rough lifestyle she grew up in, even if that means hiding her true self behind a bland socialite veneer. Dragging her party-hound sister out of a club was not how she wanted to ring in the New Year, but Viv knows the drill. Get in, get her sister and get back to the safe, stable life she’s built for herself as fast as humanly possible. But Viv’s plans are derailed when she finds herself crashing into the club’s clearly badass and dangerously sexy owner.

Jace is everything Vivienne swore she never wanted, but the more time she spends with him, the more she starts to see that he loves just as fiercely as he fights. He can walk society’s walk and talk society’s talk, but when he wants something, he finds a way to get it. He’s proud of who he is and where he came from, and he’ll be damned if he lets Vivienne go before showing her the safest place of all is in the arms of a dangerous man.

This book is approximately 105,000 words

My ‘Blogging Reader’s Review’ after reading Rough & Tumble (Haven Brotherhood Series book #1)’:

***WARNING: Possible SPOILERS if you haven’t read the previous Novels of the Haven Brotherhood Series.***

Rough & Tumble is the a part of the brand new series called Haven Brotherhood Series by author Rhenna Morgan. It has dangerously-exciting and entertaining factors that extend throughout the entire story-line. There is a great blend of romance, suspense, and sexiness that will please readers who can enjoy and appreciate these aspects in a good story. Rough & Tumble is written in the P.O.V’s (Point of views) of the main characters Vivienne and Jace.

Vivienne “Viv” Moore is trying to build her business while constantly having to rescue her wild younger sister Callie from her bad choices. Their childhood wasn’t perfect but Vivienne tries hard to make sure that she doesn’t let that shape her life now. On one of the nights where she has to rescue Callie, she comes across a very dark and dangerously-attractive man named Jace. Just the eye contact alone makes her feel things she never has before.

Jace Kennedy is a part of a group called The Brotherhood. Aside from that, he’s very rich and runs multiple successful businesses with his Brotherhood family. He finds himself living on the edge at times because of the occasional dangerous people he comes in contact with. There is just something about Vivienne that seems to draw him toward her. Jace wants to know more about her but as he gets closer to her, they find that threats to him run the risk of touching her life, too.

Is someone on a mission to destroy everything Jace has worked hard to build? Will Vivienne find her own success in her life or will she be drug down by disastrous choices that her sister Callie puts herself in? Will Vivienne learn about what the Brotherhood is? Rough & Tumble is an enthralling and incredible novel with stunning characters like Vivienne and Jace, as well as characters that are sure to make bigger appearances in this fresh new series. I recommend this for readers who can appreciate an entertaining read, with a great sexy-romantic story-line, and for those who enjoy some suspense intertwined. Check this one out and add to your reading list for sure! 😉

Synopsis for MISTRUST’:

The final installment in the series tells the story of Roxy Doucette.

When Roxy Doucette meets the all too handsome, Knox Harrington, sparks fly. He’s the new assistant to the club’s attorney. However, Christopher “Outlaw” Caldwell, the club’s president, is suspicious of Knox’s true reasons for being there. Something about Knox just rubs Outlaw the wrong way, therefore, he asks Roxy to get Knox into bed for some “pillow talk”. At first, she’s outraged at Outlaw’s proposal, but accepts that he might be right and the club could be in jeopardy. She agrees to “date” Knox and the war of wills begin.
Born in wealth and privilege, Knox Harrington is a former police officer who has little regard for biker clubs. In particular, the Death Dwellers, and ESPECIALLY the president. Now a private investigator, Knox is working on behalf of his uncle to bring Outlaw and the Dwellers down. The club members’ nefarious deeds warrant their destruction. Knox intends to achieve that by any means possible.
When he meets the beautiful, formidable Roxy, there’s instant attraction between them. However, he sees an opportunity to use her to ferret information about the club. He’s over-the-top-arrogant, believing the ignorance and stupidity of Outlaw will ultimately be the club’s downfall. Knox hasn’t a clue that Roxy is on to him. She’s also attracted to him.
Aside from the safety of the club, Roxy’s in it for the benefits. She has a new lease on life after surviving cancer. Besides Knox’s low-down behavior, she’s a 44-year-old, mother of four children and Knox is ten years younger than she is. However, she can’t resist the challenge when Knox lets it be known that he’s the sharpest tool in the shed. He sure the hell is a tool. The foolish kind and Roxy is determined to teach him a lesson or two.
Let the games begin.

My ‘Blogging Readers Review’ after reading ‘Mistrust’ (A Death Dwellers MC Series – Book #6.5):

***WARNING: Possible SPOILERS if you haven’t read the previous Novels/Novellas of the Death Dwellers MC Series.***

The Death Dwellers MC Series by Kathryn Kelly has taken readers on one exciting journey in the world of biker mayhem, wild experiences, and powerful romances. If you’re a fan of this amazing series, I’m sure you’re also sad to see it come to the end but I’m glad we were able to get Roxy’s story before in concluded. The twists-and-turns never disappoint and always offer dialogue that would make even a tough man blush. These imperfect yet dynamic characters deliver till the very end. “Mistrust” is written from three P.O.V.’s(point of views) from Roxanne Doucette, Knox Harrington, and Christopher “Outlaw” Caldwell.

Roxanne Doucette Johnson Jones Rouseau is the MC’s version of a mother hen to the Death Dwellers motorcycle club. She curses, can throw a good punch, and doesn’t take any crap from anyone. Roxy is also known to love her family fiercely and will do anything to protect those she loves. So when Outlaw, the president of the Death Dwellers, asks her to do the club and huge favor, she doesn’t hesitate to help out. But will this mission cost Roxy her life, her heart, or the club family that she loves?

Knox Harrington, a former cop turned private investigator, has been recruited by his Uncle Avalon to investigate the Death Dwellers Motorcycle Club and their leader, Outlaw. As Knox digs deeper into the club and interacts with the club brothers and their families, he’s met with an unexpected surprise. That surprise happens to be the blunt and beautiful woman by the name of Roxy. Will Knox succeed in bringing down the club or will he find himself in a difficult situation?

Christopher “Outlaw” Caldwell and his biker family have had to face so many challenges from enemies. These enemies have tried hard to bring the club down and to take lives in the process. Through it all, they have been loyal to each other with a bond that shows its strength in times of danger. His woman Megan, his family, and his club are what matters most to the sometimes violent and dangerous man. He wants his wife to have a smooth time for the holidays, but outside forces have other plans. Can Outlaw and his brothers protect their families or will their lives be torn apart by those dead-set on destroying their lives?

In the final installment of the Death Dwellers MC Series, we get to enjoy all of these amazing and imperfect characters we’ve grown to love, enjoy, or just tolerate. We get a better understanding of the challenges Roxy deals with in her life from being mother hen to the club family, having a son who painfully pushes her away, and surviving her cancer. In mistrust will Kendall finally redeem herself or will Outlaw and Johnnie finally come to blows over her issues? I recommend “Mistrust” and this entire series for readers who love gritty, raw, emotional story-lines, that will keep you entertained till the end. It’s bittersweet to see this end but it went out with a bang. This is definitely worth checking out. Pick this one up today! ❤
