Synopsis for ‘PRIVILEGED’:

Being young is all about the experiences: the first time you skip school, the first time you fall in love…the first time someone holds a gun to your head.

After being held hostage during a robbery at the local convenience store, seventeen-year-old Edie finds her attitude about life shattered. Unwilling to put up with the snobbery and bullying at her private school, she enrolls at the local public high school, crossing paths with John. The boy who risked his life to save hers.

While Edie’s beginning to run wild, however, John’s just starting to settle down. After years of partying and dealing drugs with his older brother, he’s going straight—getting to class on time, and thinking about the future.

An unlikely bond grows between the two as John keeps Edie out of trouble and helps her broaden her horizons. But when he helps her out with another first—losing her virginity—their friendship gets complicated.

Meanwhile, Edie and John are pulled back into the dangerous world they narrowly escaped. They were lucky to survive the first time, but this time they have more to lose—each other.

My ‘Blogging Readers ARC-Review’ after reading ‘PRIVILEGED’:

“Privileged” is the latest novel from author Carrie Aarons. This entertaining standalone novel comes from the Contemporary Romance genre and delivers with enjoyable characters and a decently good story-line. This story is written from the two main characters’ P.O.V.’s(point of views) which are Nora Randolph and Asher Frederick.

Nora Randolph is an American girl who’s a new student at Winston Preparatory Academy in London. It’s her senior year of high school and to add to that pressure, she must blend into this new posh school filled with her elite and privileged peers. She’s far from her old town in Pennsylvania now that she is set to become the step-daughter to the Duke of Westminster. To top it off, it seems a certain popular jerk named Asher is determined to make her life a living hell.

Asher William Frederick comes from a line of overachievers who’ve never had to worry about anything since they have the connections and money to do as they please. Asher and his father conjure up a plan to bring down the Duke of Westminster by any means necessary. They blame him for the night Asher’s mother died. With vengeance in his heart, he tries his best to satisfy his and his father’s anger. But, what Asher didn’t plan on was slowly finding himself falling for the innocent and sometimes naive Nora.

Can Nora handle every little snide remark and prank these rich snobs sling her way? And can Nora find her place in her new challenging life? Will Asher ever find a way to heal from his mother’s death or will he continue to live in his shallow lifestyle with no real depth? This story was a pleasant surprise and did not disappoint. It’s a fun read with a plot that keeps things interesting. It’s great to see the characters grow from start to finish. If you’re looking for something appealing to entertain your romance-reader needs, this one is a good one! Check this out. ❤

The Synopsis:

A self-made man with his fingers in a variety of successful businesses, Jace Kennedy lives for the challenge and he always gets what he wants. From the start, he sees Vivienne Moore’s hidden wild side and knows she’s his perfect match, if only he can break it free. He will have her. One way or another.

Vivienne’s determined to ditch the rough lifestyle she grew up in, even if that means hiding her true self behind a bland socialite veneer. Dragging her party-hound sister out of a club was not how she wanted to ring in the New Year, but Viv knows the drill. Get in, get her sister and get back to the safe, stable life she’s built for herself as fast as humanly possible. But Viv’s plans are derailed when she finds herself crashing into the club’s clearly badass and dangerously sexy owner.

Jace is everything Vivienne swore she never wanted, but the more time she spends with him, the more she starts to see that he loves just as fiercely as he fights. He can walk society’s walk and talk society’s talk, but when he wants something, he finds a way to get it. He’s proud of who he is and where he came from, and he’ll be damned if he lets Vivienne go before showing her the safest place of all is in the arms of a dangerous man.

My ‘Blogging Reader’s Review’ after reading Rough & Tumble (Haven Brotherhood Series book #1)’:

***WARNING: Possible SPOILERS if you haven’t read the previous Novels of the Haven Brotherhood Series.***

Rough & Tumble is the a part of the brand new series called Haven Brotherhood Series by author Rhenna Morgan. It has dangerously-exciting and entertaining factors that extend throughout the entire story-line. There is a great blend of romance, suspense, and sexiness that will please readers who can enjoy and appreciate these aspects in a good story. Rough & Tumble is written in the P.O.V’s (Point of views) of the main characters Vivienne and Jace.

Vivienne “Viv” Moore is trying to build her business while constantly having to rescue her wild younger sister Callie from her bad choices. Their childhood wasn’t perfect but Vivienne tries hard to make sure that she doesn’t let that shape her life now. On one of the nights where she has to rescue Callie, she comes across a very dark and dangerously-attractive man named Jace. Just the eye contact alone makes her feel things she never has before.

Jace Kennedy is a part of a group called The Brotherhood. Aside from that, he’s very rich and runs multiple successful businesses with his Brotherhood family. He finds himself living on the edge at times because of the occasional dangerous people he comes in contact with. There is just something about Vivienne that seems to draw him toward her. Jace wants to know more about her but as he gets closer to her, they find that threats to him run the risk of touching her life, too.

Is someone on a mission to destroy everything Jace has worked hard to build? Will Vivienne find her own success in her life or will she be drug down by disastrous choices that her sister Callie puts herself in? Will Vivienne learn about what the Brotherhood is? Rough & Tumble is an enthralling and incredible novel with stunning characters like Vivienne and Jace, as well as characters that are sure to make bigger appearances in this fresh new series. I recommend this for readers who can appreciate an entertaining read, with a great sexy-romantic story-line, and for those who enjoy some suspense intertwined. Check this one out and add to your reading list for sure! 😉

My ‘Blogging Reader’s ARC-Review’ after reading ‘SUGAR RUSH’ by Sawyer Bennett:

***WARNING: Possible SPOILERS if you haven’t read the previous Novel of the Sugar Bowl Series.***

“Sugar Rush” is the sequel novel in the “Sugar Bowl Series” by author Sawyer Bennett. This one picks up exactly where the first novel left off, with Sela in shambles after being caught by Beck and thrown out for doing something that he sees as breaking his trust. Beck is left feeling betrayed and hurt. Will they both be able to get passed this or is this the end for them? The story-line continues down the path of revenge and retribution, as well as the main characters trying to get past the dark secrets of their pasts. This novel falls into the genre category of Dark-Contemporary Romance but also touches on powerful issues and situations, giving it a feel of suspense intertwined. Sugar Rush is written from the two main character’s P.O.V.’s(point of views), Sela Halstead and Beckett “Beck” North.

Sela Halstead is still working toward her master’s degree, but retribution has become her main focus lately. That and her surprising feelings for Beck. Knowing what happened to her ten years earlier, she can’t leave it behind, knowing that one of those involved in that ordeal, is living his life without any remorse or punishment. Sela never expected to get close to Beckett North, the partner of her target. But she has, and now she needs to find a way to get the justice she seeks. How far is Sela willing to go in order to obtain vengeance against “The Sugar Bowl’s” co-owner Jonathon “J.T.” Townsend and bring him down?

Beckett “Beck” North has grown strong feelings for Sela. With his own past, born into a rich family and the privileges that come with that lifestyle, thanks to his parents, he loathes betrayal, lies and deceit. When he finds Sela somewhere she shouldn’t have been, he throws her out and wants nothing to do with her. But is this where their story ends? When Beck begins to really think back on all he’s experienced and learned about Sela, he realizes that he’s made a terrible mistake. He knows that there is no easy way out of his business partnership with Jonathon “J.T.” Townsend regardless of the multiple mistakes J.T. has made. Finding a way out of their partnership may be the only answer for Beck now that he’s discovered the truth about his long time friend and partner.

Can Sela truly trust Beck with her darkest secret or will he betray her? Can Beck believe the twisted lifestyle of his long time friend and business partner J.T.? Will Sela finally get her justice or will things fall apart? Will Sela finally get to face-off with the person she hates deeply: J.T.? So many secrets are spilled and the story has more twists and turns that are exposed in this novel. There are some intense, raw emotional moments as well as beautiful loving moments, so Sugar Rush definitely offers so much for readers on different levels. The deep connection between Sela and Beck hits some major bumps in the road but it doesn’t seem to weaken the strong feelings they share. Beck is amazing when he’s protective and caring for Sela. Sela is driven and incredible in dealing with all of the heavy mess that comes with all of the emotions she must face in this second novel.  J.T. is still the obvious villain in this story that we all hope goes down for the pain he’s caused!

I highly recommend this novel and the Sugar Bowl Series, but  once again, I have to do so with some warnings. Reader Warning: This dark and emotionally-charged story may be difficult for some readers or may be a trigger to some due to the characters discussing sexual assault in the novel. I will be extremely excited to get my hands on the third and final installment of this roller-coaster read titled “Sugar Free”! Yes, this one ends on a Cliffhanger but the next novel will be out in October of 2016 and it is absolutely worth reading. Check this series out! 🙂

My ‘Blogging Reader’s ARC-Review’ after reading ‘PAPER PRINCESS’ by Erin Watt:

“Paper Princess” is a dynamic novel filled with drama, sexy characters, and emotional highs and lows. This novel is the first of “The Royals Series” by author Erin Watt. Paper Princess walks the thin line between being a mature Young Adult and New Adult novel due to it’s intense dialogue, actions from the characters and the emotional roller-coaster ride their lives go on. This is also a Contemporary Romance story with some interesting turmoil between The Royals’ family members, the people in their lives, and their newest addition: Ella. Paper Princess is written solely from one main character’s P.O.V.(point of view), Ella.

Ella Harper has never known the royal treatment of anything in life since she grew up with a mother struggling with personal-dark-issues and never had much money. After tragedy hits her life, Ella chooses to pick up the pieces on her own. She makes choices to survive, no matter the possible consequences of those choices. When it seems she’s destined to follow in her mother’s foot-steps in some aspects of her life, someone surprisingly enters into her life.

Unbeknownst to Ella, a rich man named Callum Royal comes forward claiming to be her guardian and offers a mind-blowing deal. Soon after, Ella is introduced to a whole new lifestyle of the privileged, stuck-up, and the deceptive. Callum introduces Ella to his five sons who instantly seem to dislike her from the start while giving her a hard time as she struggles to adapt to this new change in her life. She learns a huge part of her history and where she comes from.

There is one brother in the Royal family in particular who seems to really take the lead in causing Ella so many problems in her new life. His name is Reed Royal. He’s dangerously attractive, intimidating, sexy as sin, and seems to run the school they attend. As Ella moves in, she quickly realizes that her rich peers love their high school drama. Unfortunately, she seems to be the main focus in most of the latest drama and rumors going around.

“Paper Princess” has many emotional twists and turns that will entertain you, piss you off, make you feel happy butterflies in your tummy, and may even break your heart. The characters were all awesome in their own ways. The main female character Ella is a strong-willed, street smart, savvy young lady and her imperfections just make her more real, relate-able, and likable. Reed and the other Royal brothers are protective of their family and its reputation. Despite that, they are fun to read about because of the wide-range in their personalities.

So, will Ella be able to adapt to her new lifestyle after having such a different social upbringing or will she be scared-away from this new life? Will the Royal brothers ever accept Ella into their world? And why is Reed the hardest on Ella? What will Ella learn about her past? This was a riveting, enticing, and all-together an enthralling read. I definitely recommend this for readers who enjoy a story that has some major drama, touches on some deep topics, and delves into the beginning of what looks to be a wild new series! Please Note: This touches on an attempted sexual-assault. Also, even though it does end on a cliffhanger, you should check this one out, it’s worth the read! The wait for the follow-up will not be long at all. I’m excited to get my hands on the second installment “Broken Prince” coming out very soon! 🙂

MEMORABLE QUOTES & LINES FROM ‘PAPER PRINCESS’

Ella’s thoughts:  A chill runs through me. He’s the one to worry about. He’s the one I need to watch out for. And he’s the only one who tilts his head toward me in a calculated slant. As our gazes lock, my heart beats a little bit faster. Out of fear. Maybe under different circumstances, my heart would be pounding for another reason. Because he’s gorgeous. They all are.

Ella and Reed:  “All I want to do is make it to college.”
“And take a chunk of Royal money with you?”
“Maybe with a few Royal hearts in my pocket, too,” I say sweetly.
“You’re playing a dangerous game,” he rasps out.
“I don’t know any other way to play it.”
That bit of truth stuns him and I slip away.

Ella and Easton:  “Kiss me like you mean it,”I tell him.
His eyes darken and his tongue pokes out to run across his lower lip and it’s sexy as hell.
My gaze flicks over to Reed, who hasn’t stopped glowering. “Kiss me,”I repeat.
He lowers his head and whispers, “It doesn’t matter that you’re pretending I’m Reed. I’m pretending you’re someone else, too.”

Ella’s thoughts:  The apple is dangling in front of me, juicy red and delicious, but, like the fairy tale, Reed Royal is the villain disguised as a pretty prince. Taking a bite out of him would be a huge mistake.

Reed and Ella:  “I’m mad at myself. I did this. Well, Easton and I. I brought this on you. I’m Reed the Destroyer.” He sounds sad. “Didn’t you know that?”
“I don’t like that name.”
“Yeah, and what would you call me instead?”
I open my mouth and say, “Mine.”

The Synopsis for ‘EVERYTHING I LEFT UNSAID’:

Fans of Jodi Ellen Malpas, K. Bromberg, and Joanna Wylde will be unable to resist this sexy, deeply intimate tale of a woman running from her past, and the darkly mysterious man who sets her free.

I didn’t think answering someone else’s cellphone would change my life. But the stranger with the low, deep voice on the other end of the line tempted me, awakened my body, set me on fire. He was looking for someone else. Instead he found me.

And I found a hot, secret world where I felt alive for the first time.

His name was Dylan, and, strangely, he made me feel safe. Desired. Compelled. Every dark thing he asked me to do, I did. Without question. I longed to meet him, but we were both keeping secrets. And mine were dangerous. If I took the first step, if I got closer to Dylan—emotionally, physically—then I wouldn’t be hiding anymore. I would be exposed, with nothing left to surrender but the truth. And my truth could hurt us both.

My ‘Blogging Reader’s ARC-Review’ after reading ‘EVERYTHING I LEFT UNSAID’ by Molly O‘Keefe:

I was granted the chance to check out this new novel and here is my honest review after reading a copy of “Everything I Left Unsaid”, the first novel of a new series by Author Molly O’Keefe. This is the first novel I’ve read from this author and I have to say that I’m very interested in reading more, especially from this new series. This comes from the Adult genre as well as Contemporary Romance, Suspense and Erotic Romance genres and it definitely delivers in those expected needs. Readers will get to read the story through the two main character’s P.O.V.’s(point of views) from Annie McKay and Dylan Daniels.

Annie McKay grew up on a huge farm in Oklahoma, raised by her mother who never really showed affection or love which causes Annie to not have a normal loving relationship with her mother. All Annie grew up knowing was the farm life and not much else. The only real friend she had growing up was an older man by the name of “Smith” who also met the needs of a father figure for Annie. When her mother ends up passing away, Annie is left with a huge farm to tend to and not one clue on how to truly run it. At this time, an employee on the farm, a man named Hoyt steps up and offers to give her the help she needs. Everything seemed to be going well and eventually they marry, against Smith’s warnings. Annie didn’t want to be alone and was afraid of trying to run the farm all by herself, so she gave into Hoyt and his overly helpful ways. Not long after, Annie realizes the huge mistakes she’s made since the moment she allowed Hoyt to be such an intricate part of her life. He’s controlling, manipulative, violently-abusive and cold as ice with her. Her life became a numbing seclusion from everyone around. After one terrible night, Annie decides to flee with only a few thousand dollars and a new look to hide who she is.

Annie finds herself as a new resident in a seedy little place named Flowered Manor Trailer Park and Camp Ground in a random small town inside of North Carolina. She’s colored her hair, from the usual natural redlocks and is determined to stay hidden, just in case. Upon moving in, she comes across a cell phone as it begins to ring. Hesitantly, she answers. The voice on the other end of the line becomes a whole mysterious, highly seductive and potentially dangerous person that she did not expect.

Dylan Daniels grew up with their father named Ben and a mother named Maria. His mother was a beautiful and caring woman but his father was something else. He used to make him and his older brother Max feel like they were never good enough and needed to toughen up. Despite his childhood and teen years of getting into trouble with Max, he grew up to be cold, with a drive to succeed. After an accident changed his life in a way, he began to go in a different direction. The scars of life still influence his life deeply. So deeply that he now lives up high at a mountain top, practically secluded from society and has no plans on changing his ways. That is…until he makes one phone call and hears the voice on the other end that may actually become a threat to his stubborn ways.

When Annie decides to hide the truth about herself, will she ever regain her identity as Annie or will she get lost in the fake new persona of “Layla?” What dark secrets is Dylan keeping about himself? Will Annie and Dylan give into their growing sexual tensions or are they both destined to be on the run from their past emotional issues? Will their pasts’ ever catch up to them? This novel was very enjoyable with the dark, suspenseful, erotic and dramatic storyline. The female character, Annie, seems broken yet strong in some ways because she’s a survivor and a fighter deep down inside. Dylan, the main male character, is sexy, dark and mysterious, but you can tell he is carrying some major emotional baggage but still he can’t hide that he can be a truly caring person. Note: There is mention of abuse from Annie’s past relationship with Hoyt and mature sexual content in this novel. I do recommend this novel because it really was compelling and telling in many entertaining moments. It’s worth checking out, if you’re looking for a new series to try out. Check this one out, readers! 🙂

Against All Odds by J. L. Perry

The Synopsis:

Angel and Chase come from two different worlds. Angel grew up privileged. Her father is CEO of Cavanagh and Associates and her mother owns a successful dance school. Chase on the other hand grew up with a neglectful, manipulating mother, who put her numerous husbands and boyfriends before the welfare of her own son. So much so that when he was twelve, his stepfather at the time, who also happens to be a member of a notorious bikie gang, walked away from his marriage, taking Chase with him.

Angel

Angel is daddy’s little princess. In his eyes, no one is good enough for his little girl. Due to his overprotectiveness, at the age of twenty-two she’s never had a serious boyfriend. She decides to move away from home to finish school, so she can experience all that life has to offer. That includes men.

When she meets Chase Daniels, sparks fly. He’s the ultimate womanising bad boy. Even though her common sense says stay away, she can’t seem to control the attraction she feels for him.

Chase

Chase doesn’t hold women in high regard due to his past. With his good looks and charm though, he has women falling at this feet. Just the way he likes it. He’s a playboy and doesn’t do commitment. Then he meets Angel. She’s not only beautiful, but sweet and innocent. Nothing like the women he’s used to. The feelings he has for her are foreign to him and he doesn’t like it one bit. Despite all this, he’s drawn to her, like a moth to a flame.

Not only do they have their families to contend with, there’s also the secrets from Chase’s past. Not only do they have the potential to destroy him, it will also tear them apart. The odds are stacked against them, but will they still be able to find happiness together? Or will it be enough to stop the one thing they want more than anything, each other?

My ‘Blogging Reader’s ARC-Review’ after reading ‘AGAINST ALL ODDS – ANGEL’ S STORY’:

Wow! Against All Odds was such an awesome read. I have to first note that this is the first novel I’ve read of the Destiny Series. Being that this is the fourth novel in this series, I have to say I have been missing out if the previous novels in the series are anything like this one. This is my first time reading the work by author J. L. Perry. Against All Odds – Angel’s Story is a contemporary romance with tons of steamy, emotional and romantic aspects to it. The novel is written from the three character’s P.O.V.’s(point of views), Angel Cavanagh, Chase Daniels and Angel’s father – Logan Cavanagh.

Angel Cavanagh lived a very protected life growing up because of her lawyer father, Logan Cavanagh. When she moves to attend the university in another town, she finally gets the chance to have a little more freedom than she’s ever had in her younger years. She’s beautiful, smart and hasn’t had much dating experience. When she comes across a guy who is sexy and probably trouble, she can’t help her instant attraction. Instead of falling for his usual charm, they develop a close friendship.

Chase Daniels is attractive and can get women easily because of his sexiness and charm. When he first spots Angel, something about her seems innocent, different and undeniably attractive. Chase grew up with a mother who treated him horribly but that all changed when his mother’s boyfriend takes him away from that unhealthy life. Even though the man who raises him is in a biker club, he raises Chase to be better and do better by sending him to university. Chase has never felt worthy of love or much else but when he gets to know Angel, he begins to question it all. When his friendship with Angel becomes something more one night, all of those fears come tumbling back. He can’t shake the feeling that she deserves better.

This novel is the fourth novel of the Destiny Series but it can be read as a standalone. I may have to go back and check out the previous novels if they are anything like this one because it was worth the read. Will Angel and Chase’s friendship fail or grow into something more? Can Chase escape the past that haunts how he seems himself? Will Angel be able to move on after a horrible incident that occurs? And how will Angel and Chase handle a heartbreaking moment that will change everything in their lives? The characters were enjoyable and likeable by the way they were written. You’ll be captivated by the storyline because you’ll thrive to see how the story goes with the emotional moments that are both a mix of happy and sad. I recommend Against All Odds – Angel’s Story because it is gripping and the love story is mesmerizing. Give this one a read next! 🙂

MEMORABLE QUOTES & LINES FROM ‘AGAINST ALL ODDS’

Angel’s thoughts:  I know my dad loves me, but his over-protectiveness can be smothering at times. I needed to get away so I could experience all that life has to offer. Which includes men. I’m twenty-two years old, and thanks to my father, I’ve never had a serious boyfriend.

Angel’s thoughts:  He’s the ultimate bad boy; a sinfully hot, tattooed, motorbike-riding playboy. He has an endless supply of beautiful women falling at his feet. There seems to be a different girl on his arm every day, sometimes two. I’m a smart girl. That alone should’ve told me everything I needed to know. Stay the hell away! Like his others, I’d fallen victim to his sex appeal and charm. I should’ve known better.

Angel’s thoughts:  Little did I know this wasn’t the end for us. Not by a long shot. Neither of us could have known the journey that lies ahead. Our lives, our families’ lives, were about to be put to the ultimate test. They say every family has skeletons in the closet. You know what, I could’ve sworn my family didn’t. They seem to perfect. Well, I was wrong…

Angel’s thoughts:  He was so close I could feel the heat radiating off his body. Deep down, I’d wanted this from the moment I laid eyes on him. I wasn’t about to put a stop to it. I wanted this. More. Than. Anything. We didn’t say a word. Time stood still as we held each others gaze. My hands were itching to reach out and touch him.

Chase’s thoughts:  There was something about her. Something was drawing me in. That day, she became my first ever female friend. I mean, fucking ever. The only female I’ve ever let get close to me. The only female I’ve ever let myself care about.

Chase’s thoughts:  My feelings for her were supposed to be a secret. I was never supposed to act on them. She’s too fucking good for me, I know that. Too sweet and innocent. Being with someone like me would only cause her harm.

Chase and Angel:  “I’ll always be here for you if you need me, sweet-cheeks.”
I feel my lips slightly curl again at his nickname for me. “You will?” I ask in surprise.
“Of course I will. Despite what you think, I do care about you, Angel,” he answers as he looks up, locking his eyes with mine. What he says surprises me. I wasn’t expecting him to say that. He seems sincere, and it fills me with happiness.

Chase’s thoughts:  I want her with every fibre of my being. I want to claim her, make her mine. But I can’t do it to her. She deserves so much more than I can ever give. So much fucking more. She probably thinks I’m going to leave her again, but I’m not. Right now she needs me. Needs a friend. So, I’m not going anywhere.

Devils Den Series 3 SIN by Violetta Rand

The Synopsis:

Sin proves that passion goes beyond smoldering desire when hearts dance to their own special beat.

Every woman at the Devil’s Den strip club has a story to tell, and Macey Taylor is no exception. Smart and self-reliant, she’s got a chip on her shoulder, a broken heart, and no patience for a sexy new manager with an Ivy League pedigree and a strict set of rules. Macey prefers to break rules, something she lets Joshua Camden know from the start—even as he ignites a fire in her that goes beyond the hottest club in town.

Joshua is working the Devil’s Den for all it’s worth, learning everything he can about the adult-entertainment game before investing in a place of his own. Macey is a surprise: a woman as strong-willed as she is gorgeous. Joshua wants to get inside her world, to see through her eyes. But he soon discovers that seduction is a two-way street—and expecting redemption without risking his heart may be the greatest sin of all.

Includes a special message from the editor, as well as an excerpt from another Loveswept title.

My ‘Blogging Reader’s ARC-Review’ after reading SIN(Devil’s Den Series – Book #3):

In the third and final installment of the Devil’s Den Series by author Violetta Rand, we get to see the story following Robyn’s best friend Macey. This has been a wonderfully-hot and enjoyable series and it’s bittersweet to know that it is over. This novel is of the Adult and Contemporary Romance genre and definitely touches on the erotic and steamy aspects of the story. Sin is written in the two main character’s P.O.V.’s(point of views): Macey Taylor and Joshua Camden.

Main characters Robyn (main character of Surrender) and her younger sister Marisela Gonzalez (main character of Surrender), are mentioned in “Sin”. We see where their lives are now. The main character of “Sin” is Robyn’s former co-worker stripper-best-friend, Macey Taylor. She is beautiful with sexy skills on the stage, long black hair, a blunt personality and the funds that allow her to enjoy lavish trips on occasion. When Macey returns from a nice long getaway vacation to Paris minus her boyfriend Wesley who stayed back in Corpus Christi, she finds herself facing new changes in her life. Some wanted changes and some tough ones. The Devil’s Den Strip Club has a new assistant manager by the name of Joshua Camden who is making big changes and Macey isn’t one to stay quiet about things that she’s not happy with when it comes to the way things were before. This causes instant tension between the two.

The new manager of the Devil’s Den Gentlemen’s Club, Joshua Camden, is ready to make improvements to the club since he’s been given the go-ahead by the owner. What Joshua didn’t expect was his instant attraction and pull toward Macey. Joshua Camden comes from a family of money but wanted to take on the job at the Devil’s Den regardless. In the process his fiance, Julia Henderson, left him to move to New York to be with another man named Clark who lived the lifestyle that fit her elite life. When Julia breaks up with Clark and tries to get Joshua to take her back, he’s left in his own tough situation with an ex like Macey is dealing with her own. Will Macey and Joshua give their ex’s a chance again? Or will they both try out their chances at the undeniable attraction that they share and give into that instead?

Sin is the final installment of the Devi’s Den Series and it definitely goes out with a bang. This is a series worth reading because it is full of entertaining storyline and steamy scenes. With the similar relationship issues that Macey and Joshua both recently experienced, it gives them a common connection but also makes it hard for them to trust each other fully. There is nothing better than watching two characters with a believable and strong connection grow closer throughout a story. This entire series is truly worth reading. Pick up your copies of these novels  when you’re in need of reading something sexy, gripping and exciting to read. 🙂

MEMORABLE QUOTES & LINES FROM SIN

Macey’s thoughts:  My gut aches and I can barely breathe, it hurts so much. Home for less than an hour and my whole world just disintegrated. Of course I’ll do what I always do when I need to forget something: I’ll dance my ass off.

Joshua’s thoughts:  There’s just something about her. I stare at the screen again, admiring her head to toe, trying to find the words. It’s hopeless. Beauty and brains? Chemistry? Maybe it’s because she defied me from the moment she stepped into my office.

Joshua’s thoughts:  Every time I turn around there are thieves waiting to steal what we have- envious assholes ready to destroy our happiness. Not today. I claim her mouth. Nothing is going to hold me back this time.

Joshua and Macey:  Our gazes lock. I feel dizzy and breathless.
“I want to know everything about you, Macey. All your secrets. What you love and what makes you smile.”
“You make me smile.”
“I’m glad to hear it.”
