Production for the Fifty Shades Of Grey movie has officially begun, which had been rescheduled to begin filming on December 2nd, 2013.  Check out the latest photos circulating from the first day of ‘Fifty Shades’ filming with Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele and Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey. They were filming in the GasTown District of Vancouver, Canada.

Producer Dana Brunetti of Fifty Shades Of Grey, spoke about possibly releasing two versions for the film with different ratings to please the general audience as well as the hardcore fans of the novel ‘as is’:

“It’ll be R, obviously it has to be R.  This is just my opinion and this doesn’t mean this is going to happen, but I always thought it would be really cool if we released the R version and then we had an NC-17 version that we released a few weeks later.  So everybody could go and enjoy the R version, and then if they really wanted to see it again and get a little bit more gritty with it then have that NC-17 version out there as well.  It’d be great for the studio too because they’d get a double dip on the box office… What we’re kind of hearing from the fans is they want it dirty, they want it as close as possible [to the book].  We want to keep it elevated but also give the fans what they want.”-via: Collider.

Fifty Shades Of Grey fans, check out actress Dakota Johnson’s new look.  She recently stepped out and was photographed with a completely different look. She has transformed her look by saying goodbye to her golden locks  and becoming a brown-haired girl named ‘Anastasia Steele.’

Today brings another new “Fifty Shades Of Grey” casting update. Actor Callum Keith Rennie has signed on for a role of “Ray”, stepfather to the naive Anastasia Steele in the highly anticipated adaptation of E.L. James’ bestseller of the same name.

Another casting update in the Fifty Shades of Grey film announced recently is of the loving adoptive mother of billionaire Christian Grey, Dr Grace Trevelyan Grey. The Oscar-winning actress cast is Marcia Gay Harden.  Gay Harden, 54, won an Academy Award in 2001 for her supporting role in biopic Pollock and has recently finished work on Woody Allen’s Magic In The Moonlight.

Here’s a new casting update in the Fifty Shades of Grey film announced recently is of the step-father of Anastasia Steele, Bob. The actor cast is Dylan Neal.  Dylan Neal currently co-stars in the CW TV show Arrow and his past credits include Bold And The Beautiful, Dawson’s Creek and Cedar Cove.

The news has come out of who will play Christian Grey’s interesting and tough personal bodyguard, Jason Taylor, who also becomes almost like a friend to Anastasia. The actor cast is Max Martini.  Martini’s credits include Captain Phillips, Colombiana, Pacific Rim and Saving Private Ryan.

It has been announced that actress Eloise Mumford has been cast as Anastasia Steele’s friend and roommate, Kate Kavanagh in the Fifty Shades Of Grey film.  The 27-year old actress is best known for her work on television’s The River and Lone Star.
The character of Kate Kavanagh is a blonde, attractive and the same age as Anastasia but she is more outgoing and flirtatious than Anastasia.

Actress Jennifer Ehle will be portraying Anastasia Steele’s mother, Carla.

So far we have actress Dakota Johnson as virginal-nice girl, Anastasia Steele. It is said that Dakota Johnson assisted in choosing the replacement for Christian Grey’s role.

Just yesterday, the news was announced that handsome model/actor Jamie Dornan has been cast as Christian Grey, replacing Charlie Hunnam for the role. It seems many “Fifty” fans support the new leading man.

LATEST ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ CASTING RUMOR is for the character Elena Lincoln, the former lover of Christian Grey who introduced him to the world of BDSM and who’s described as a blonde. She is the one that Christian Grey seeks advice from about his relationship with Anastasia Steele. In the book, Anastasia and Elena aren’t too fond of each other, to the point that Ana gives Elena the nickname ‘Mrs. Robinson’ because of the age difference.  The rumor is that actress Katie Holmes is interested in the role. FIFTY SHADES OF GREY CASTING UPDATE:
Universal Pictures and Focus Features are negotiating with Jennifer Ehle to play the role of Carla in Fifty Shades Of Grey. Carla is the mother of Anastasia Steele, she’s a strong Southern woman on her fourth marriage. Dakota Johnson plays Anastasia and Charlie Hunnam plays Christian Grey in the Sam Taylor-Johnson directed adaptation of the EL James novel trilogy that is being produced by Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti. Ehle recently wrapped the Jose Padilha-directed Robocop and the Alan Rickman-directed A Little Chaos. She was last seen most memorably in the Kathryn Bigelow-directed Zero Dark Thirty. She’s repped by ICM Partners.
