The Synopsis for ‘Neighbors’ :

Things a good neighbor can do for you:

1. Give you a cup of sugar

2. Let you borrow his lawnmower

3. Water your plants while you’re on vacation

4. Make your eyes roll back in your head with his tongue

Katya Tocci has never paid much attention to who lives next door – her career always kept her too busy. She’s a good girl, working her way to becoming the most sought after cake designer in all of San Francisco.

But even a good girl’s gotta cut loose once in a while, right? So one fake dating profile later, and she’s ready to tarnish her squeaky clean image. Little does she know, her fun time is closer to home than she ever imagined.

Throw in a neighbor who wants to corrupt her, and another who just wants to own her, and her entire world is flipped upside down.

Who knew neighbors could be so helpful?

This story contains scenes of a graphic sexual nature, multiple uses of coarse language, and one scene of violent cake destruction. Reader discretion is advised.

My ‘Blogging Reader’s Review’ after reading ‘NEIGHBORS’:

“Neighbors” is an enticing novel by author Stylo Fantome. As far as genres go, this novel fits in both the adult and new adult categories, as well as in the contemporary romance and erotica sections. This story is unpredictable in some ways and keeps you entertained through out the story-line which is a plus. “Neighbors” is written in the three main character’s P.O.V.’s(point of views) from Katya Tocci, Liam “Eden” Edenhoff, and Wulfric “Wulf” Stone.

Katya Tocci has always led a simple but happy life. Some would call it boring but she was fine with that. She had her friends, family, a great career, and didn’t feel as if she was missing anything. That was true until her roommate Tori decides that Katya has been in a dating rut long enough and needed to get out there and explore. So, she signs her up on a dating website. Tori just failed to let Katya know that she spiced up her information to make her sound sexy and more wild than she really ever was. This brought about a very interesting turn of events. Her neighbor, who happened to be signed up on the same dating site, introduces himself and things begin to go down a very wild road for Katya. Katya decides to enjoy the ride by ignoring her reservations and giving herself a chance to go beyond her own limits and rules.

Liam “Eden” Edenhoff owns a club, not just any club, but a sex club where fantasies can come true. He’s had his fair share of sexual relations that haven’t meant anything more than a quick moment of ecstasy and nothing more. When gets bored, he checks out a dating site and happens to find his neighbor on there. He’s barely ever paid much attention to her because she never seemed like the type to fit with his ways. He decides to check her out and see if she’d be into what he’s into. His business partner even told him to go for it, so he follows through. Things for Liam begin down a path he never expected to be headed down.

As if things for Katya couldn’t get anymore wild and full of twists-and-turns, someone from her past pops-back into her life again. Wulfric Stone was the son of a family friend and her neighbor growing up. He never paid her much attention since he was six years older, who was usually a jerk, and self-centered. And to top it all off, she had a huge crush on him when she was growing up. Now, as an adult, not much has changed with him other than his lifestyle. He seems to be a very successful man, but he now comes across as an even bigger jerk, blunt, mysterious, and sexy-as-sin.

When Katya finds herself going from being very single to being in a very hot and twisted love-triangle, how will she handle it all? Who will she choose: Liam, the sexy and fun club owner, or Wulf, her old crush who’s a handsome and successful business man? As Katya gets to know them, will a friendship, their bond, mind-blowing sexual attraction, and feelings make things more complicated than we expected? And what secrets are being kept that could spin this entire situation into a tailspin of exposing lies and possible causing heartbreak. “Neighbors” is absolutely something different but very intriguing, sexy, and enthralling. This novel is wild, unpredictable, and definitely ends in a place that makes you excited to see what’s in store for these characters and this series! Note: This novel ends on a cliffhanger but is definitely worth it and there’s a love-triangle! I highly recommend this for readers who can enjoy an exciting and enticing story about growing and exploring oneself and pushing limits that one may put on themselves. This definitely had deeper moments and emotional peaks that will keep readers riding a wild roller-coaster. NOTE: It ends on a Cliff-hanger but is definitely worth the read and to see where this wild story will go! Also, there are some very sexual situations, so be ready for that. This is worth the read. Check it out today! 😉

How I imagined Katya, Wulfric, and Liam while reading ‘NEIGHBORS’:

Liam and Katya: “I want to believe it was my cunning sexual prowess…”
“It totally was, and if you get my something to drink, maybe you can show me some more of your ‘prowess’…”
“I think I’m falling in love, angel cake. You are more fun than I ever would’ve thought possible.”
“See? Never judge a book by its cover.”

Katya and Wulf: “We’re on a date?” First she’s engaging in public displays of indecency, then she’s accidentally going on a date with the biggest asshole she’d ever met.
“I just saw little Katya Tocci behind a counter, all grown up, living in the same city as me. Thought it would be nice to sit down together, see what was behind that apron of yours,” he said. She willed away the blush.

Katya and Wulf:  “I do think you’re perfect for me, and that scares me.”
“Because I’ve never felt this way about somebody,” she whispered, placing her hand over his. “I don’t want you to break me.”
He took a deep breath, then fit his fingers into the spaces between hers. Linking their hands together. She gripped as tight as she could, wanting to hold onto the moment forever.
They always go away too soon. Give me this one, for just a little longer.
“You’re right, Tocci. That is very, very scary,” he breathed.
She was pretty sure he’d never spoken truer words to her.

Wulf’s thoughts: If he let her in, he’d have to be honest with her. Let her inside his heart and his brain and his secrets. She’d have to know everything about him. And then she’d leave, it couldn’t end any other way. He couldn’t let that happen. He didn’t want to be broken.

Katya and Liam:  “The things I said to him…”
“I would’ve paid to have been there.”
“You would’ve laughed.”
“I would’ve ripped his fucking head off.” She’d never heard him angry before- not really angry.
“It’s done. Nothing you need to get upset about- it’s over. So over, it’s hard to believe it ever even began.”
“Katya… you’re a good person. There is literally nothing you could’ve done to deserve that kind of treatment,” he said.
“Yeah, well, try explaining that to him.”
“Maybe I should.”

Liam and Katya:  “Yes, you’ll go out with me?”
“Yes, but Liam, I can’t promise that I’ll be a very good date. I’m… I’m a little broken right now,” she tried to explain, trying to protect herself. Protect him.
“Then let me try to fix you,” he whispered.

Katya’s thoughts:  She could never imagine doing something so intimate with anyone else, ever again. He was the only one she trusted to take care of her needs, to do it oh so perfectly, without her having to say a word.
